A testimony of the creations of Jeanne and Norbert Pierlot in France, in the Ratilly castel (Bourgogne) in the 50’s and the 60’s. They produced daily use chamotte clay stoneware pieces (clay of Puisaye) from 1952. Jeanne developped tableware in simple and pure shapes, using local brown clay and milk white glaze. The pieces are stamped with a owl, sedentary bird of the castel of Ratilly.

This set includes a coffe/tea pot with a clay filter, a milk can and 9 coffee cups.

Marked with a owl stamp.

Dimensions:

cups: H 6 cm - Diameter 6,5 cm

coffee can: H 20,5 cm without hood- Diameter base 11 cm

milk can: H 9 cm - Diameter 6 cm

Condition: Very good. Note on the lip of the coffee can a glaze, firing imperfection.
